Fun: These shapes were modelled in silo. After this it was taken too maya for rigging. I was given the chance to use this assignment as a way to learn more about productional rigging in Maya. This really struck my interest and so I was later co-assigned on developing a tool to automate the rigging process with Mel-script. The rig has a stretchy spine, IK/FK arms with bendy arm support and a free control system for final freeform deformations. The legs are IK with feet that can bank, toetwist, heeltwist, heelraise and toeraise. (Shading and logo-animation:Hoaxland)
